Hello! Art began for me at the age of five through my mom’s encouragement. My grandmother, an artist herself, would have us grandkids paint at her house cultivating in me a love for creativity at a young age. Though, my passion wasn’t fully recognized until my senior year of high school in Columbus, Georgia when I sold my first pieces.
Over the years, I’ve come to view art through the lens of nature, seeing paint strokes of the Creator in sunsets and mountain ranges, rivers and valleys. This inspires me to replicate what I see on canvas to make people’s homes a little more joyful and bright.
Today, I live in Iowa with my husband and two little ones and find art as a respite amongst the busyness of chasing toddlers, painting in our garage as they nap. Flowers and landscapes have always come most naturally to my hand, but I love the challenge and beauty of creating a commission, something unique that will bring joy to your home.
